Join our dynamic Dallas-based team as a Technology Lead (Python) contractor, where you'll lead 7+ developers in delivering enterprise-grade Python applications. This hands-on technical leadership role is perfect for an experienced professional eager to drive technical excellence, mentor high-performing teams, and shape innovative solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
[Responsibilities]
- Lead and inspire a team of 7+ Python developers across multiple concurrent projects and workstreams
- Architect, design, and implement scalable Python-based applications and services for enterprise clients
- Provide technical leadership, solution design, and guidance through code reviews and technical oversight
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to define requirements and delivery plans
- Drive Agile delivery, ensuring DevOps and CI/CD best practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Oversee sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and execution
- Ensure code quality, security, compliance, and testing standards are consistently met
- Manage risks, dependencies, and resolve technical issues to ensure successful project delivery
- Mentor and coach team members on best practices, design patterns, and development processes
- Support production releases and critical issue resolution as required
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 8-10 years of professional experience in Python development
- Proven track record in technical leadership or solution architecture for enterprise applications
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development workflows
- Expertise in team leadership, mentoring, and delivering high-quality solutions in complex environments
- Excellent stakeholder and project management skills

- Experience in risk and dependency management
- Background in production operations and support for enterprise applications
- Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks
