Job Opportunities in Chicago and New York

We are currently seeking talented Software Engineers with expertise in Python to join our dynamic team. We have two openings in Chicago and one in New York. Candidates will initially be placed in a general pool, with specific team assignments determined later in the recruitment process. One role is for our ETF desk, focusing on front-office operations, and the other is for our Position Systems Team, which handles back-office functions.

We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience, provided they have at least one year of professional experience in a production environment. A strong foundation in Python is essential, as this is a key requirement for the role. While industry experience is not mandatory, candidates should be open to a maximum of a 12-month non-compete agreement.

Compensation for the ETF Manager role is in the low $300,000 range, while the Position Systems role offers a more flexible salary up to approximately $400,000. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply, as compensation packages can be discussed with our CTO if necessary.

Key Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing and developing our trading systems and mission-critical applications. You will work closely with quants, traders, and research teams to improve the adaptability and scalability of our systems. Your contributions will also aid in the creation of innovative trading applications.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related Engineering/Science field
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with Python in a production setting
• High proficiency in Python on Linux platforms
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and take ownership of projects
• Effective problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
