Python Developer AWS Cloud and Web Applications

Ability to develop a CRUD application with multi-factor authentication (5–7 API endpoints) from inception to deployment within 40 hours, OR build high-volume API endpoints that fail gracefully. Job TitleRequired Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a recognizable Coding Bootcamp, or equivalent training.Required Skills:In-depth knowledge of Python 3.x development practices and experience writing/supporting code.Intermediate knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, and TypeScript.Advanced understanding of Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture.Ability to develop a CRUD application with multi-factor authentication (5–7 API endpoints) from inception to deployment within 40 hours, OR build high-volume API endpoints that fail gracefully.Experience with automated testing (unit and integration).Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Projects, Git version control, and Agile development methodologies.Ability to perform self-guided code analysis, troubleshooting, and development.Experience with third-party API integration.AI-assisted development is acceptable, provided you can debug AI-generated code.Job Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain secure web applications on OpenShift and/or AWS.Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct them.Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards, and is compatible with devices or operating systems.Write code that interacts with databases for CRUD operations.Build out API endpoints for customers to query.Create documentation pages.Design and construct integrations with other products and endpoints to pull back data.Provide operational support for globally deployed web application solutions.Work with customers to understand deployed solutions and assist with using said products.Build new application functionality in the AWS cloud environment.Attend regularly scheduled stand-up meetings.Participate in Agile delivery, leveraging AI tools.Soft Skills (Must-Have):Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills.Advanced ability to work independently and manage one's own time.High level of transparency and reporting capability.Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.
