Position Summary
We are looking for a talented Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and integrations. You will play a key role in building and supporting both internal and customer-facing applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, optimize system performance, and ensure reliability.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Python, Linux environments, and databases, along with excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable applications and services using Python.
- Design and implement custom integrations to enhance system connectivity and workflow efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance code to improve performance and reliability.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Python development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Python development, Shell scripting, and Linux environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and frameworks such as Flask and Gunicorn.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases and designing RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of network infrastructures and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP).
- Proficiency in Linux environments, including system configuration and command-line operations.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and a proactive approach.
Preferred Skills
- At least one year of experience in Linux system administration.
- Basic knowledge of C/C++.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Bonus Skills
- Proficiency in C/C++, C#, or other statically typed languages.
- Experience in the Telecommunications Industry or working with network technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols.
