The Nursing Student Success Navigator (NSSN) serves as a masters-prepared nurse educator who partners with students throughout their educational journey-from entry into the nursing program through graduation, NCLEX-RN success, and transition into professional nursing practice.

Job Summary:

The Navigator establishes meaningful relationships with students through proactive communication, personalized academic coaching, NCLEX preparation, and ongoing professional mentorship.
Working collaboratively with faculty, Academic Program Heads, Student Services, and School of Nursing leadership, the NSSN monitors student progression, identifies barriers to success, coordinates timely interventions, and develops individualized success plans that promote academic achievement and professional readiness.
The NSSN serves as the primary point of continuity throughout the students educational experience by providing scheduled and just-in-time support through both synchronous and asynchronous communication.
