The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for supporting organizational operations through purchasing, asset management, mail services, vendor coordination, inventory control, and records administration. They oversee the timely procurement of goods and services, accurate tracking of assets and records, efficient mail and package processing, and operational support for departments and corporate initiatives.

PURCHASING specialist Skills and qualifications include:
2 years of experience in administrative support functions to include purchasing, inventory and asset control, records administration, and mail distribution.
Experience in a financial institution is preferred.
High school education or GED.
Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and member service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday
7:00 am - 4:00 pm, with some flexibility.
Travel
Travel is rarely necessary for this position.
Work Site Location
All work will be performed at our beautiful Corporate Campus located at 2675 ONeal Lane Baton Rouge, LA 70816
