Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the preconstruction activities from project pursuit through handoff to operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP to develop budgets, schedules, and project strategies.
  • Manage design development, constructability reviews, and value engineering initiatives.
  • Oversee subcontractor prequalification, bid solicitations, and scope reviews.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, conceptual budgets, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Partner with project teams to ensure smooth transition from preconstruction to execution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, design partners, and trade contractors.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Candidate

  • Minimum of 5+ years of preconstruction experience with a focus on multifamily wood frame construction projects.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, estimates, and preconstruction schedules.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to work effectively with executives, clients, and project teams.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
