Compunetics is seeking an individual to plan, direct, and coordinate the procurement, inventory, and movement of materials to support organizational operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare RFQs and Purchase Orders and submit to suppliers
- Source and develop new suppliers
- Negotiate prices
- Collaborate with approved suppliers for best price, quality and delivery
- Liaise between suppliers, customers and internal account management, planning and production
- Coordinate semi-annual uniform orders
- Maintain departmental work instructions
- Maintain daily inventory daily cycle counts
- Supervise and oversee the Shipping/Receiving Department
Requirements:
- Bachelor – Supply Chain Management or Business
- 3-5 years experience purchasing/supply chain management at a manufacturing facility
- Industrial materials, chemicals, laminates and other raw material procurement experience preferred
- Printed Circuit Board experience a plus
- Understanding of ERP, planning, expediting and inventory control processes in a production environment
- Solid interpersonal, communication, and multi-tasking skills required
- Some supervision or team leadership experience desired
