Purchasing Manager for a confidential leadership opportunity with an established organization in
Richland County, Ohio.This is a
DIRECT HIRE, salaried opportunity offering
up to$90K based on experience, with additional bonus potential. The position is fully onsite with a traditional daytime schedule.
We're looking for a purchasing professional who can balance strategic planning with daily operations. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys leading a team, building strong vendor relationships, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing purchasing strategies that support continued growth.
What You'll Be Doing:- Lead and support a team of purchasing professionals.
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies that support short and long term business objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships, supplier negotiations, and purchasing activities.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, improved efficiencies, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to support purchasing and inventory needs.
- Evaluate purchasing trends, reporting, and systems to support informed decisions.
- Provide hands on leadership while maintaining a focus on the bigger picture.
What We're Looking For:- Strong experience in purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing.
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred.
- Experience with vendor negotiations, purchasing strategy, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing technology.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team while remaining actively involved in daily operations.
- A collaborative, adaptable personality that thrives in a busy, evolving environment.
