    seeking a detail-oriented
    Purchasing Assistant for a growing
    manufacturing company in
    Asheboro. This role will support
    purchasing, inventory control, order
    tracking, vendor communication,
    and reporting functions while
    helping ensure materials are
    available to support production
    needs.The ideal candidate will have
    strong organizational skills,
    purchasing or inventory experience,
    and advanced computer skills,

    particularly in Excel. This is a great

    environment. ResponsibilitiesCreate
    and process purchase orders for raw
    materials, supplies, and operational
    itemsTrack open purchase orders and
    follow up with vendors regarding delivery
    schedulesCommunicate inventory and
    purchasing updates with internal
    departmentsMaintain accurate inventory
    records within the ERP systemPerform
    inventory counts, cycle counts, and
    investigate inventory discrepanciesReceive
    materials into the system and verify receipt
    accuracyProcess vendor invoices and
    coordinate with Accounts PayableRequest
    supplier quotes and assist with pricing
    comparisonsMaintain vendor files,

    purchasing records, and inventory
    documentationGenerate inventory,
    receiving, and purchasing reportsMaintain
    Excel spreadsheets and inventory tracking
    recordsSupport inventory audits and
    continuous improvement initiativesBuild
    and maintain positive relationships with
    vendors and suppliersAssist with special
    projects as assigned by
    management Qualifications2+ years of
    experience in one or more of the
