About the Role:We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Manager to join our team in Mountainside, NJ. Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, including vendor sourcing, purchase order creation, and order tracking
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet business demand while minimizing excess stock
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner
- Analyze purchasing trends and inventory data to forecast needs and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability aligns with project timelines and customer orders
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory within company systems
Requirements:- 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain operations
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent negotiation and vendor relationship management skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience in a retail, home décor, or specialty products environment is a plus
- Able to travel 20% of the time
