Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our team on a 3-month contract to support coverage for an employee on intermittent leave. This role has potential for extension or conversion based on business needs.

This position plays a key role in ensuring timely procurement, order management, and vendor coordination across a high-volume SKU environment.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $30 an hour
• Duration: 3 months (with potential extension or conversion)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Work Environment: Fully remote (must reside within 50 miles) (equipment provided; occasional onsite training if needed)
• Location: Irvine, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor a shared procurement email inbox, ensuring timely review and delegation of requests, vendor responses, and updates
• Process purchase orders and acknowledgments using Microsoft Dynamics (2016)
• Send order confirmations and shipment notifications to vendors
• Track and follow up on orders using ERP reports and automated tracking tools
• Maintain inventory levels by reviewing out-of-stock and replenishment reports
• Coordinate with established national and international vendors
• Respond to internal requests from sales teams and external inquiries in a timely manner
• Prioritize and execute orders based on sales team direction and inventory needs
