Who We Are

We're looking for a talented Purchasing Analyst to join our supply chain team and help us take a high-level view of our purchasing activity, supplier relationships, and procurement processes.

You'll work under the general direction of the Director of Purchasing and take on work that requires considerable judgment, initiative, organization, and attention to detail.

This is an opportunity to use your purchasing and analytical experience to identify strengths, uncover opportunities for improvement, and help the organization make more informed purchasing decisions.

What You'll Be Doing

Your work will combine detailed purchasing analysis with supplier management and strategic recommendations.

You'll review purchasing patterns and analyze spending across multiple platforms, helping maintain centralized purchasing standards while identifying opportunities to control costs and improve purchasing performance.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Reviewing purchasing patterns and analyzing spending across multiple platforms
  • Generating high-level financial reports to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Sourcing new suppliers and researching alternatives in the market
  • Maintaining positive vendor relationships and tracking supplier performance
  • Negotiating favorable pricing, delivery terms, and service-level agreements
  • Ensuring purchasing activities remain compliant with company policies
  • Working closely with inventory controllers to monitor inventory and help prevent shortages
  • Helping streamline procure-to-pay workflows
  • Maintaining accurate purchasing records within ERP systems
  • Presenting reports to leadership outlining current practices and recommended improvements
  • Supporting RFP processes for new products and seasonal items
  • Meeting with sales personnel to support rebate programs, growth programs, and commercial terms

This isn't just about reporting numbers. You'll be expected to understand what the numbers mean, identify opportunities, and clearly communicate recommendations that can improve purchasing performance.

Who We're Looking For

To be considered, you should have:

  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or purchasing analytics
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and data modeling
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency with procurement software
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong critical-thinking and analytical abilities
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Leadership abilities
