Love plants and a good deal? We’re looking for a Purchasing Agent who knows their way around plant materials, nurseries, and the horticulture industry—and can confidently negotiate the best quality and pricing.
At McDugald Steele, you’ll play a key role in bringing our landscape projects to life by sourcing the right materials, at the right time, from the right vendors.
What You’ll Bring
Solid knowledge of plant material, botanical names, and nursery standards
Understanding of horticulture industry specs and quality expectations
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Intermediate Excel skills (tracking, organizing, analyzing data)
Experience with job costing (a plus, not required)
Physical Requirements
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable operating a skid steer (or willing to learn)
