We have an immediate opening for a Purchase Order Clerk with a busy office in Dothan. This position will work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and pay rate is $12-14, based on experience.
Duties:
- Review inventory levels and assist in determining purchasing needs
- Issue purchase orders to approved vendors
- Monitor order confirmations, schedules and back orders
- Enter purchase orders into the inventory management system
- Verify product codes, descriptions and costs
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing schedules as needed
- Assist in routine cycle counts as needed
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in data entry or administrative role
- Must have strong attention to detail and high accuracy
