Responsibilities
- Set up and operate punch press machines according to specifications and production schedules.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on punch press equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Document production activities and report any issues to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven experience as a punch press operator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot punch press machinery effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
