Reporting to Operations management, the Pumping Foreman leads field pumping operations and directs assigned crew members in the safe and efficient rig-up, operation, maintenance, movement, and rig-down of pumping equipment, tools, and related assets at the shop, yard, and customer locations. This position serves as a field-level leader responsible for coordinating job execution, verifying equipment readiness and pressure-control activities, communicating with customers and other service lines when designated, and coaching Pump Operators and new employees on safe work practices, job procedures, equipment operation, and documentation requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead assigned pumping operations in the field including planning job task sequencing, directing crew assignments, and coordinating safe and efficient rig-up, pumping, maintenance, equipment movement, and rig-down activities.
- Verify equipment readiness before and during job execution, including pumps, reverse units, pump iron, suction hoses, data cables, valves, testing equipment, pressure-control equipment, forklifts, manlifts, and related tools.
- Operate and oversee operation of high-pressure pumping equipment and related systems in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, treatment plans, and safe work practices.
- Confirm valve alignment, flow path, line walking, pressure bleed-off, and pressure-control steps before, during, and after pumping operations; communicate valve position changes and pressure status clearly to crew members and affected personnel.
- Ensure tools, equipment, hoses, pump iron, cables, and related assets are loaded, secured, staged, used, maintained, cleaned, and returned in accordance with company procedures and operational expectations.
- Lead pre-job briefings, JSAs/JHAs, safety meetings, job-scope reviews, and post-job debriefs to ensure crew members understand assigned tasks, hazards, controls, PPE requirements, and customer/site expectations.
- Exercise stop-work authority and escalate unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, pressure-control risks, incidents, near misses, spills, leaks, or customer/site issues to the appropriate company representative or manager.
- Coach, train, and mentor Pump Operators and new employees on pumping equipment, valve positioning, fluid levels, filter changes, pump controls, Dastrac or similar systems, field tickets, job documentation, and safe work practices.
- Reinforce professional conduct, teamwork, housekeeping, spill prevention, leak reporting, tool accountability, and compliance with company and customer safety requirements.
- Serve as the primary field contact for assigned pumping operations when designated, coordinating with Operations management, customers, crew members, supervisors, and other service lines to support safe and effective job execution.
- Complete, review, or support accurate field tickets, treatment data, job reports, equipment inspection notes, maintenance records, and other required documentation in company systems or customer-required formats.
- Support preventive maintenance and basic repair activities, including checking and maintaining fluid levels, replacing filters, repacking high-pressure pumps, servicing valves and seats, and identifying equipment issues requiring escalation.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED); some college is a
- Minimum of two (2) years of pumping, pump-down, fracturing/stimulation, reverse-unit, or related oilfield service experience in a Foreman, Lead Operator, or comparable field leadership role preferred.
- Must have a Class A CDL, and able to get Hazmat, and Tanker
- Ability to perform maintenance service on the engine and pump and experience running high horsepower equipment in a safe, and professional manner.
- Must have experience running operating system for pumping equipment (Dragon, Rolligan, Lime, etc.)
- Must know how to operate a computer laptop and knowledge of Microsoft products such as Outlook (emailing) and Word, Excel (writing tickets, compiling data);
- Also ability to learn and operate Dastrac software
- Must have a cell phone or dependable access to a telephone
- Dependable means of transportation

- Acceptable clearance of the Company’s pre-employment requirements, including drug/alcohol screen, criminal history check and MVR
- Demonstrated ability to lead crews, assign work, communicate expectations, coordinate with other service lines, and support safe, professional field execution in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of pumping procedures, high-pressure operations, rig-up/rig-down sequencing, valve alignment, flow direction, pressure bleed-off, and pressure-control safety practices.
- Ability to lead safety meetings, JSAs/JHAs, job briefings, and field-level hazard reviews; exercise stop-work authority; and escalate incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, or equipment concerns appropriately.
- Ability to complete or review field tickets, treatment data, job documentation, equipment inspection notes, maintenance records, and customer-required paperwork accurately and timely.

This position performs physically demanding, safety-sensitive work in field rig-site environments, including pumping operations, crew supervision, equipment rig-up/rig-down, high-pressure pump operations, and related field tasks.
- Lifting/Carrying: Must be able to, with or without reasonable accommodation, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, perform team lifts up to 100 pounds, and push, pull, and handle pumping iron, hoses, valves, tools, and related equipment during rig-up/rig-down and maintenance activities.
- Posture and Movement: Must be able to, with or without reasonable accommodation, stand and/or walk for extended periods, typically 6–8 hours per shift, including approximately 7 hours standing and 3 hours walking; frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, and pulling are required.

- Work Environment: Work is primarily performed outdoors at field rig sites in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, mud, and temperature extremes. The role may involve exposure to high-noise environments greater than 85 dBA, requiring hearing protection in designated areas.
- Hazards and PPE: Work may involve confined-space entry, high-pressure pumping equipment, hazardous materials, H2S exposure potential, and respirator use. Required PPE may include FR clothing, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, fall protection, and respiratory protection based on site conditions and safety procedures.
- Equipment and Driving Requirements: Operates or works around high-pressure pumps, cement truck/equipment, forklift, manlift, and pressure-control equipment. A Class A CDL is required; Hazmat and Tanker endorsements must be obtained or maintained as required by business needs. DOT physical and applicable drug/alcohol testing requirements apply as permitted or required by applicable law and company policy.
- Schedule and Travel: Typical work may include 12-hour shifts, rotational schedules such as 14/7, extended hours, overtime, nights, weekends, and travel up to approximately 70% based on operational needs.
