What You’ll Be Doing As a Pump Technician, you’ll play a hands-on, critical role in keeping our water management systems running safely and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for the operation, inspection, maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, and related equipment at our saltwater disposal and pipeline facilities. Key Responsibilities: - Perform vibration analysis using company-owned diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct precise pump and motor alignments utilizing specialized alignment tools.
- Carry out routine motor greasing, lubrication services, and H-Pump oil changes per scheduled service intervals.
- Install, commission, and calibrate pumps, motors, and associated equipment to ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs, including replacing or servicing seals, bearings, couplers, impellers, and thrust chambers as needed.
- Oversee and assist with major maintenance projects such as motor swaps, pump swaps, and barrel changes.
- Support HVAC preventive maintenance tasks, including coil cleaning, filter replacement, and other light maintenance work.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and service reports.
- Conduct quality assurance and control tests to verify the proper operation and performance of equipment.
- Ensure all work is performed safely, adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and troubleshoot operational issues as needed to minimize downtime.
- Overnight travel to South Texas field locations approximately 10-15% of the month.
