Job Overview
Fairview is seeking a Pulmonary Function Specialist to join our team at M Health Fairview Clinics & Surgery Center in Minneapolis. This 0.75 FTE position (60 hours per two-week pay period) is scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This role is primarily based at the M Health Fairview Clinics & Surgery Center, with the opportunity to provide coverage at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital and M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center - Maple Grove as needed to support departmental operations.
The Pulmonary Function Specialist is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services as prescribed by a physician. The Pulmonary Function Specialist (PFS) has responsibility for performing routine and advanced pulmonary function testing and acting as a resource for these procedures in the Pulmonary Function Laboratory. This position will also be responsible for monitoring workflow and/or may coordinate the daily operation of the Pulmonary Function Laboratory. This position requires excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Laboratory standards associated with safety are constantly followed.
