    Pulmonary / Critical Care Physician (PCCM) – Pensacola, FL

    $400,000 guaranteed starting salary, production-based compensation with no ceiling on what you earn, and a predictable 8-week rotation that balances ICU and clinic. No state income tax, and the Gulf Coast beaches are 20 minutes away.

    The Position:

    Our Client is seeking a full-time Pulmonary / Critical Care Medicine (PCCM) physician for a practice that spans closed medical ICU coverage, outpatient pulmonary clinic, inpatient consults, LTAC and post-acute critical care, and bronchoscopy with advanced pulmonary procedures. This is a physician-owned group with an established referral base, strong hospital relationships, and partnership potential — an ideal fit for a pulmonologist who wants ownership of their practice and their earnings.

    Salary and Benefits:

    • $400,000 Guaranteed Starting Salary — physicians with 5+ years of independent practice experience
    • $300,000 Guaranteed Starting Salary — new graduates or physicians with less experience
    • Eat What You Kill (EWYK) compensation model — the guarantee provides income stability while you build your practice, after which compensation is driven by your own professional collections and productivity
    • Significant long-term earning potential with no ceiling on production
    • Full physician benefits during the guaranteed salary period

    • No traditional PTO under the EWYK model — you control your own calendar and schedule time away on your terms

    Requirements:

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
    • Active Florida medical license (or license-eligible before start)
    • Comfortable managing both outpatient pulmonary medicine and inpatient critical care
    • Preferred:
      • Five or more years of independent practice experience
      • Interest in building a long-term career in a physician-owned practice with partnership potential

    Responsibilities:

    • Predictable 8-week rotation designed to balance inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
    • Provide closed medical ICU coverage
    • See patients in the outpatient pulmonary clinic
    • Cover the inpatient pulmonary consult service
    • Manage LTAC and post-acute critical care patients
    • Perform bronchoscopy and advanced pulmonary procedures
    • Build a practice supported by an established referral base and strong hospital relationships
