Job Title: Publication Operations Manager II
Work Schedule: High preference for the candidate to be local and based in NJ (they would be able to work 100% remote and come into the office for team meetings/building events).
Duties:
GMA Publications Operations Manager will help develop, deliver, and drive the execution of internal and external scientific communication strategy and related tactics including global publications (e.g., abstracts, posters, manuscripts) and scientific materials.
Support standardization across the geographies.
Work with agency partners to ensure deliverables are of high quality and delivered in a timely manner.
Manage publication development activities in Datavision publication management software, including internal and external review and collection of authorship agreements, financial disclosures and author approvals.
Ensure documentation of compliance with authorship and publication guidelines as stipulated by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Good Publication Practice for Communicating Company-Sponsored Medical Research (GPP) Participate in publication planning meetings to assist with execution of the publication plans.
Support scientific congress activities. Participate in Medical Communications meetings to assist with achieving the team goals.
Data Quality & Systems:
Coordinate iEnvision data cleanup and quality remediation, identify gaps and inconsistencies, and coordinate resolution with Pub Leads, agency partners, and the DataVision team.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Coordinate information, follow-up, and deliverables across Pub Leads, Global Medical Affairs teams, DataVision team, agency partners, Japan Medical Affairs, and other stakeholders.
Operational Tracking:
Develop and maintain team-level project trackers that capture ongoing projects, priorities, action items, and deadlines.
Skills
3-6 years of highly experienced in publication related activities in Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.
Solid understanding of clinical study data and Pharmacotherapy.
General Oncology experience is highly preferred.
Med comms experience from the agency would also be considered.
Education
Completed BS/BA with equivalent industry experience. If candidate has a PharmD, MS, PhD - would be a nice to have
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $55-$60.51/hr
