The City of Hamptons Public Works Department is seeking a dedicated and analytical professional to investigate and resolve safety-related incidents in the workplace. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying the root causes of mishaps, recommending effective resolutions, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. In addition, the incumbent will be expected to take the lead in developing risk assessments and compliance programs while monitoring processes to maintain a safe work environment. By evaluating incidents and analyzing trends, the position plays a key role in identifying barriers to safe work performance and developing action plans to control or eliminate workplace hazards. Do you have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Safety, Environmental Safety, Industrial Hygiene or a related field with major coursework in Industrial Hygiene, Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Environmental Studies, Chemistry, Biology or a field directly related to occupational health and safety?
