Public Works Engineer

Project Partners is seeking a Public Works Engineer to support a public sector agency in Corona, California. This full-time, on-site position will provide engineering and project management support for a variety of public works and municipal facility improvement projects in both the design and construction phases.

The ideal candidate will have experience with public works projects and be comfortable coordinating consultants and contractors, reviewing engineering plans, monitoring construction activities, and investigating field issues.

Project may include:

• ADA Walkways
• Fire Station Upgrade
• Historic Civic Center Improvements

As a Public Works Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide engineering oversight and support for projects during construction.
• Manage and coordinate consultant and construction contracts, including scope, schedule, deliverables, and project progress.
• Investigate field conditions and construction-related issues and assist with developing solutions.
• Review engineering plans, specifications, drawings, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, inspectors, agency staff, and other project stakeholders.
