We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Public Health Specialist to support programs focused on disease prevention, health promotion, community wellness, and population health. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing health data, coordinating public health initiatives, and working with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations.
Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs and initiatives.
Collect, analyze, and interpret population health and epidemiological data.
Identify community health needs, trends, risks, and priority populations.
Support disease prevention, health education, and health promotion activities.
Coordinate outreach programs with healthcare organizations, government agencies, and community partners.
Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations based on public health findings.
Monitor program performance and measure outcomes against established goals.
Assist with public health emergency preparedness and response activities.
Ensure programs comply with applicable public health regulations, policies, and standards.
Conduct community assessments, surveys, and research when required.
Support grant-funded programs, including documentation and reporting.
Promote health equity and improve access to healthcare services for underserved populations.
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Sciences, Community Health, or a related field.
Master's degree in Public Health ( MPH) preferred for advanced positions.
Knowledge of epidemiology, disease prevention, health promotion, and population health.
Strong analytical, research, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to interpret health data and prepare clear reports and recommendations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and public health data or reporting systems.
1+ years of experience in public health, community health, epidemiology, or healthcare programs.
Experience working with local, state, or federal public health agencies preferred.
Experience with community outreach, health education, or program evaluation.
Familiarity with public health surveillance systems and statistical tools.
Experience with grant reporting and regulatory compliance is a plus.
