    Job Title: Houseman / Public Space Attendant

    Department: Housekeeping
    Reports To: Executive Housekeeper / Housekeeping Manager

    Job Summary

    The Houseman/Public Space Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of all public areas of the hotel, while supporting the housekeeping team to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role ensures that all common spaces are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

    Key Responsibilities

    Clean and maintain all public areas including lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, fitness center, outside tables and meeting rooms. etc.

    Ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met according to brand and hotel guidelines

    Restock supplies in public restrooms and common areas

    Remove trash and debris from public areas and dispose of properly

    Assist Room Attendants by delivering linens, towels, and amenities

    Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping calls

    Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to management

    Maintain housekeeping storage areas in a clean and organized manner

    Support laundry operations as needed

    Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies

    Qualifications

    Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    Strong attention to detail

    Good communication and teamwork skills

    Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

    Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs

    Physical Requirements

    Prolonged periods of standing and walking

    Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending

    Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely

    Work Environment

    Indoor/Exterior hotel environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals

    May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
