Title: Sr. Tax Manager
Location: Alpharetta, GA 
Compensation: $150,000 – $205,000/ yr (DOE)

Position Overview

Our client is looking to add a Sr. Tax Manager to their expanding team in Alpharetta, GA. This role is for an experienced tax professional with a strong, broad tax background.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a client-focused mindset, helping deliver exceptional service while contributing to the firm's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and review of tax filings for individuals, partnerships, S-Corp, C-Corp, and tax-exempt organizations
• Provide advisory support related to tax planning, compliance strategy, and risk mitigation
• Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and proactive guidance
• Work closely with partners and internal teams to ensure engagement quality and accuracy
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and contribute to business development

• Review staff work and provide coaching to support professional growth

Required Qualifications

• Active CPA license

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax (Master's degree preferred)

• 7+ years of public accounting experience-- ideal to have experience with trusts, estates, or nonprofit taxation
• Strong familiarity with fiduciary accounting and tax regulations related to charitable organizations
• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a deadline-driven environment

• Interest or experience in developing new client relationships
