Key Responsibilities:
- Test Operation Support
Support preparation, execution, and monitoring of test activities for GT-Hybrid systems
Perform equipment setup, wiring, instrumentation, and test cell preparation
Operate and monitor the Enorise (FEV-origin) test system using Morphee control software
Utilize A&D data acquisition systems for measurement and data validation
Monitor system behavior and respond to abnormal conditions
Assist in test data collection and preliminary analysis
- Facility & Equipment Management
Maintain and manage test facility equipment including:
Enorise (formerly FEV) integrated test benches
Battery simulators, dynamometers, and auxiliary systems
Perform daily inspection, condition monitoring, and preventive maintenance
Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate equipment repairs
Manage control systems (Morphee), measurement systems (A&D), and related HW/SW configuration
Support system updates, modifications, and commissioning activities
- Safety & Risk Management
Execute safety procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA and internal standards
Participate in safety reviews
Perform immediate actions for emergency situations (equipment stop, safe shutdown, and evacuation support)
Support improvement of safety procedures and operational rules
- Test Planning & Coordination
Support planning of test schedule, resources, and preparation activities
Coordinate with global engineering teams (primarily Japan) to align test requirements
Ensure test readiness conditions (equipment, safety, and personnel) are satisfied
Report status, issues, and results clearly to stakeholders
- Data & IT Management
Operate and maintain test data systems including A&D measurement platform and data storage systems,
Manage test data storage, backup, and access control
Support data integration and monitoring system operation
Maintain network and IT systems in compliance with company policies
- Supplier & System Interface Coordination
Act as a technical interface with:
Enorise (test system supplier)
Measurement/system vendors such as A&D
Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and modification activities with suppliers
Coordinate RFQ, repair requests, and technical discussions
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in test facilities, powertrain systems, gas turbine systems or industrial equipment
Hands-on experience with:
Complex test systems (dyno, HV systems, etc.)
Data acquisition systems
Basic understanding of control systems and industrial safety
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with:
Enorise / FEV test systems (or similar integrated test benches)
Morphee or equivalent test automation/control software
A&D measurement/data acquisition systems
Experience with hybrid, gas turbine, or high-voltage systems
Experience working in global teams (US-Japan collaboration)
Key Competencies:
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Ability to respond to real-time equipment abnormalities
Ownership mindset for facility safety and operational stability
Capability to work across mechanical, electrical, and software domains
