What Youll Do
- Provide diagnostic assessments and medication management for patients with mental health conditions
- Prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments
- Review and order lab work; interpret biopsychosocial data
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Serve as a client advocate and resource for patients and their families
- Maintain compliance with all professional standards and organizational policies
What You Need
- Valid Iowa RN license and licensure as an ARNP
- Certified as a Clinical Specialist/NP by ANCC or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of mental health treatments and psychotropic medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle multiple priorities
