Pay & Benefits

Pay Package: $80/hr for local candidates within 50 miles of facility and $90/hr for travel candidates 50 miles or more from facility

What Youll Do

Provide diagnostic assessments and prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for mental health conditions
Synthesize patient data to formulate clinical decisions and treatment plans
Educate patients on medication management and monitor lab work
Order, review, and interpret lab reports
Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and medication records accurately and timely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community agencies to coordinate care
Serve as a resource and consultant for staff and external providers
Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies, and regulations

What You Need
Required:

Licensure as a registered nurse and licensed as an advanced registered nurse practitioner in Iowa
Certification as a clinical specialist/NP by ANCC or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of related clinical experience
Knowledge of psychotropic medications, mental health assessment, and managed care concepts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Knowledge of involuntary hospitalization laws and trauma-informed care practices
