About the Role:BrightStar Care of Lakeland and Winter Haven is looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with pediatric experience to join our dedicated home care team. Responsibilities:- Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a home care setting
- Assess, monitor, and document patient health status, progress, and changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each pediatric patient's needs
- Educate families and caregivers on patient care, safety, and treatment protocols
- Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and care team members to ensure continuity of care
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient and family concerns or emergencies
Requirements:- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Prior pediatric nursing experience required (home health experience a plus)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable demeanor in a one-on-one care environment
