As a K-12 school-based Speech Language Pathologist in Kingston. NH your days will include:
Evaluate students’ gross motor skills, strength, balance, posture, and mobility within the educational setting.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs/504s) tailored to each student’s educational and functional goals.
Provide direct physical therapy services to students individually or in small groups as outlined in their plans.
Consult with teachers, aides, and school staff to adapt activities and environments to support student participation and safety.
Document evaluations, therapy sessions, progress notes, and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements (including IDEA regulations).
Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and parent conferences.
Train school personnel on safe lifting, mobility assistance, and classroom accessibility strategies.
Monitor, recommend, and assist with the use of adaptive equipment, mobility devices, and environmental modifications as needed.
Stay informed on best practices and new developments in pediatric and school-based physical therapy.

Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
Hours: Part Time
Caseload: Elementary and Middle School Caseload
Successful Candidates Possess
An active or pending State Licensure, or the ability to obtain (preferred)
A Department of Education Licensure, if applicable
Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
