Title: School Physical Therapist 
Location: Kingston, NH
Pay Rate: $55-60 / hour

As a K-12 school-based Speech Language Pathologist in Kingston. NH your days will include:
  • Evaluate students’ gross motor skills, strength, balance, posture, and mobility within the educational setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs/504s) tailored to each student’s educational and functional goals.
  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students individually or in small groups as outlined in their plans.
  • Consult with teachers, aides, and school staff to adapt activities and environments to support student participation and safety.
  • Document evaluations, therapy sessions, progress notes, and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements (including IDEA regulations).
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and parent conferences.
  • Train school personnel on safe lifting, mobility assistance, and classroom accessibility strategies.
  • Monitor, recommend, and assist with the use of adaptive equipment, mobility devices, and environmental modifications as needed.
  • Stay informed on best practices and new developments in pediatric and school-based physical therapy.
 
Job Details
  • Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
  • Hours: Part Time
  • Caseload: Elementary and Middle School Caseload 
Successful Candidates Possess
  • An active or pending State Licensure, or the ability to obtain (preferred)
  • A Department of Education Licensure, if applicable
  • Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
  • The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
