Position Overview

CUMULUS MEDIA | Dallas is looking for passionate, highly motivated News Host to join our WBAP/KLIF team. Our ideal candidate should possess an extremely good work ethic, be a self-starter, and highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and voice news stories including outside of the newsroom
• Write news stories for the station websites
• Post new stories on social media
• Handles emergency news/weather in show; on call for weather disasters/breaking news
• Individual will perform various news duties as needed, with the potential of working overnight or early morning hours, and some anchoring as necessary

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in radio news or website journalism
• Familiarity with digital audio editing software required
• Experience with long-form, breaking, non-scripted, weather coverage is vital
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Great team player

Pay Range

USD $15.00 - USD $15.00 /Hr.
