Position Summary

Under the direction of the Unit Director and direct supervision of the Charge RN and/or Staff RN/LPN, the Patient Care Technician facilitates patient care through assistance with activities of daily living, helping provide a clean, comfortable and safe care environment, and performing delegated technical procedures.

Work Information

• Department: CFH Medical Unit
• ️ Shift: Days | 12-hour shift
• Schedule: 6:15 AM - 7:15 PM
• Status: Full-Time | 36 hours/week
• Role Focus: Direct patient support, activities of daily living, patient comfort and safety, and delegated technical procedures

Qualifications

Education & Training

• Post-high-school specialized training required
• Successful completion of a Patient Care Technician (PCT) training program required

Licensure & Certification

• Patient Care Technician certification OR Nursing Assistant certification required
• BLS required

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
