PT Assistant Volleyball Coach

Oglethorpe University, Atlanta's leading private Liberal Arts University, is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic professional to serve as a Part-Time Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach. The assistant coach is accountable for assisting the head coach in all phases of management of a competitive women's volleyball program, which competes in the Southern Athletic Association. Primary duties include on-floor coaching, assisting with game day operations, and maintaining positive public relations for the athletic department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Part-Time Assistant Coaches' responsibilities include but are not limited to knowing and abiding by all University, NCAA, and Southern Athletic Association rules and regulations; coaching; assisting with practice and game plans; recruiting; monitoring scholar-athlete academic progress; and scheduling. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and have experience coaching in a competitive volleyball program. The successful candidate must also provide positive leadership in all aspects of the volleyball program and must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with all internal and external patrons. Other job duties and responsibilities are to be determined by the Head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics.
