Selects and provides the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care, including evidence-based care for mood, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders.

    The Department of Veterans Affairs Southeast Louisiana Healthcare System is seeking a full-time Psychologist (Rehabilitation) for the VA Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. The Staff Psychologist (Intimate Partner Violence Coordinator) will provide direct patient contact including, but not limited to: Provide a full range of psycho-diagnostic and treatment planning services including clinical interviewing, psychometric assessments, and cognitive screens Veterans in the inpatient and outpatient medical services PM&R, Spinal Cord Injury, Amputee, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Polytrauma/TBI, Blind Rehabilitation, Interdisciplinary Pain, Vocational Rehabilitation, and ALS/Neurodegenerative Disorders clinics. This psychologist may provide a full range of therapeutic interventions in Inpatient and Outpatient Services, including individual and group psychotherapy. Selects and provides the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care, including evidence-based care for mood, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders.
