What Youll Do
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for inmate/residents
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, medical staff, social workers, and security personnel
- Perform mental health screenings through clinical interviews and review of records
- Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Monitor inmate adjustment during rounds in various housing units
- Ensure compliance with all safety and ethical standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment, and progress
What You Need
- Valid license or board eligibility as a Psychologist
- Experience in mental health care, correctional facility environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
