Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and dedicated Psychological Assistant or Psychological Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality psychological assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic services to individuals experiencing psychological, emotional, and behavioral challenges.



Responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations and testing, assisting with diagnostic assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing psychotherapy services to support patients in improving their emotional well-being and daily functioning.


Candidates must be able to maintain a minimum caseload of 30–40 patient encounters per week. We also offer opportunities to accrue postdoctoral hours toward licensure, subject to applicable licensing requirements and supervision arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and testing to evaluate patients' cognitive, emotional, psychological, and behavioral functioning.
• Assist with identifying psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and establishing appropriate diagnoses within the scope of practice.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs, clinical findings, and treatment goals.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and therapeutic interventions.
• Help patients address maladaptive behaviors, emotional difficulties, and challenges affecting daily functioning.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation, including assessment results, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support continuity and quality of care.
• Maintain a caseload of 30–40 patient encounters per week.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.); an Ed.D. may be considered if the degree and training meet applicable licensing requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered psychological services.
• Knowledge of psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate clinical records and meet documentation requirements.
• Eligibility to practice in the applicable role under California licensing regulations and willingness to comply with required supervision and professional standards.
