Consult Liaison – Keene, NH


Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene / Cheshire Medical Center

In this role, the psychiatrist will function as the primary consultation liaison psychiatrist for the medical center, completing in consultative assessment in the emergency department and inpatient medical units and providing outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services in through a collaborative care model in a primary care setting. The psychiatrist will supervise psychiatric advanced practice providers and social work colleagues who are part of the ED/inpatient consultative services. Opportunities to teach in the academic department residency or consultation liaison fellowship, as well as with medical students are also available and as are engagement with academic and quality improvement projects.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO)
  • Post graduate training in residency program
Required Licensure/Certifications:
  • Current New Hampshire Medical License
  • Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification (to be obtained within 5 years)
  • Active hospital staff membership
