Location: Bensonhurst ACT Team, 8620 18th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11214
Duration: Long-term opportunity through December 2030
Full-time outpatient ACT Team assignment
Regular weekday schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
No weekends or call listed
Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of chronically mentally ill adult patients
Work as part of an outpatient ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Team
Drive to patient locations within the Brooklyn service area
Requirements:
Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist
Minimum 3 years of post-residency clinical psychiatry experience
Fully trained in evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of chronically mentally ill patients
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a state psychiatric system preferred
