Psychiatrist – Outpatient Behavioral Health

Position Overview
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This is a standard outpatient, Monday–Friday position focused on providing comprehensive, patient-centered psychiatric care.
The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and ongoing care while collaborating with primary care and behavioral health professionals. Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Standard outpatient schedule
- No weekends
- No inpatient responsibilities
- Primarily outpatient psychiatric care
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of behavioral health and psychiatric conditions
- Provide ongoing medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's clinical needs
- Provide follow-up psychiatric care and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Collaborate with primary care providers, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the care team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Provide evidence-based, patient-centered psychiatric care
- Participate in a collaborative approach to improving patient outcomes
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active or eligible Florida medical license
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
