    Staff Psychiatrist | Intensive Outpatient Program

    Position Overview

    An established, award recognized healthcare system in southern Connecticut is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join its outpatient and intensive outpatient behavioral health programs. This is a full time, in person position focused on collaborative, patient centered psychiatric care within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

    The role offers a balanced clinical schedule, meaningful leadership responsibilities, and the opportunity to participate in education and program development.

    Key Responsibilities


    • Provide direct psychiatric care in an outpatient clinic and intensive outpatient setting
    • Supervise and support clinical staff within outpatient and IOP programs
    • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary behavioral health teams
    • Participate in care coordination and patient focused program initiatives
    • Teach and mentor medical students and residents as part of an academic affiliation




    Requirements

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
    • Experience or strong interest in outpatient psychiatric care
    • Comfort working within multidisciplinary care teams
    • Interest in clinical supervision and collaborative leadership
    • Commitment to high quality, patient centered behavioral health services
