    Psychiatrist, Outpatient Medical Director [PHP & IOP]

    Location: Scottsdale, Arizona

    Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is seeking a psychiatrist to lead and help build our Brand-New PHP & IOP Programs from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity for a physician who enjoys creating, growing, and shaping services in partnership with hospital leadership.

    Via Linda is a 120-bed behavioral health hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services for adolescents and adults. As the clinical leader of this new service line, you'll have the opportunity to influence program development, clinical operations, and long-term growth.

    Position Highlights

    • Job title: Psychiatrist Outpatient Services Medical Director
    • Full-time, employed position.
    • Leadership role with additional growth opportunities.
    • Adults 18+ population, PHP & IOP programs.
    • Monday-Friday schedule, days only.
    • No call or weekend responsibilities.
    • 100% onsite in Scottsdale, AZ required.
    • EMR: Cerner

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care.
    • Lead multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
    • Help develop and grow our Newly Opened PHP & IOP programs.
    • Partner with hospital leadership on strategy, quality, and operations.
    • Support clinical excellence and program expansion.

    Qualifications

    1. Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited and recognized institution.
    2. Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible General Psychiatry required.
    3. Licensure: Current Arizona medical license, in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure.
