Schedule
Enjoy a flexible outpatient schedule with no call responsibilities, overnight shifts, or inpatient duties. Choose the work arrangement that suits your lifestyle:
- Five 8-hour days
- Four 10-hour days
- Three 12-hour days
This hybrid role includes in-person care and telepsychiatry services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans
- Manage medications for adult and pediatric patients
- Collaborate with therapists, care coordinators, and primary care providers
- Provide clinical guidance on complex or high-risk cases
- Ensure accurate documentation per OMH, FQHC, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Required:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency
- Active or eligible New York State medical license
- Board Certified or Eligible in Psychiatry (certification required within five years if eligible)
- Active DEA registration
- Willingness to treat both adult and child/adolescent populations
Preferred:
- Fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Experience in community health or outpatient behavioral health settings
- Proficiency in Haitian Creole, French, or Spanish
- Credentialing with New York Medicaid managed care organizations
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $290,000 to $320,000, based on experience

Loan Repayment Opportunities
As an FQHC in a designated Health Professional Shortage Area, we participate in several federal loan repayment programs. Eligible clinicians may qualify for:
- HRSA Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program (STAR LRP) with potential repayment up to $250,000 for a six-year full-time commitment
- National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program
- Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility
Participation and award amounts are determined by HRSA and subject to individual eligibility requirements.
