Description

Title: Psych Tech - CPEP
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Start Date: 10/26/2026
Schedule: Floating Shift 4*12s 48hours/week

  • Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Unit

  • Schedule:48 hrs/week ONLY

  • Shift: Days / Evenings / Nights – rotating

  • Requirements: Weekends, holidays, on-call & callback per unit needs

  • Experience:2+ years recent experience

  • Education:AAS degree in Psychology or Sociology required

  • Certification:BLS – AHA

  • Responsibilities: Direct patient care, assistance with activities of daily living, social/psychiatric rehabilitation, patient communication, reporting patient changes to RN, participation in rounds & group therapy

  • Skills: Compassion, teamwork, effective communication & ability to support psychiatric patients under RN direction
