Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs.
Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications.
Collaborate with facility staff and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with applicable standards.
Educate and support patients and families regarding mental health conditions and treatment plans.
Participate in clinical research initiatives when applicable.
Required qualifications
Master’s degree in nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health nursing, or an equivalent qualification.
Current Nurse Practitioner license valid for practice in Arkansas.
Additional required credentials: AANP/ ANCC and DEA license required
Preferred qualification
Familiarity with clinical documentation practices and occupational health principles.
