Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive mental health care services in Long Island, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of clinical experience in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management.
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience + benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose mental health conditions and develop treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Provide supportive therapy and patient education
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (Psychiatric-Mental Health specialization).
- Board Certified PMHNP-BC.
- Active New York State NP license.
- Active DEA registration.
- Minimum 3 years of psychiatric clinical experience.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology.
