    Job Overview

    We are a well-established outpatient mental health practice in Albany, NY seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our clinical team. This role focuses on ketamine-assisted treatment for mood disorders in a controlled, non-opioid medical setting.

    The practice has been operating successfully for over 8 years and offers long-term stability, growth, and leadership potential as ownership transitions toward retirement and expansion.


    Schedule Options

    • Full-Time: 4 × 10-hour shifts or 5 × 8-hour shifts
    • Part-Time Options: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
    • No nights
    • No holidays


    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments
    • Provide ketamine-assisted treatment for mood disorders
    • Perform IV placement and patient monitoring during treatment
    • Work collaboratively with an anesthesiologist during sedated sessions
    • Oversee both 1-hour mood treatments and longer monitored infusion sessions (up to 4 hours)
    • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
    • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols


    Qualifications

    • Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
    • Active New York State license (or ability to obtain)
    • Experience with IV placement required
    • Mental health or psychiatry experience strongly preferred
    • Comfortable working in a non-opioid, ketamine-based treatment model


    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 (based on experience)
    • W-2 position
    • 4 weeks PTO
    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (eligible after 60 days)
    • Stable, private-pay patient base
