Job Description:
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status exams and diagnostic interviews.
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practices.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
- 2+ years' experience in an emergency department setting preferred
- May provide support services to the PHP and IOP programs
- May provide services on the Behavioral Health Unit
- EMR: EPIC
- Educate patients about their mental health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the psychiatrist and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
- Document patient care in a timely and accurate manner.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
30 clinical hours
