Overview:

Looking for flexibility?

  • $42/hour
  • Minimum commitment of 16 hours per month
  • Choose from available 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift openings
  • Flexible shift lengths, typically 6 to 12 hours
  • Opportunity to pick up additional shifts, but not required
  • Schedules are posted 3 months in advance to support planning
  • Additional shifts may become available due to call-offs, PTO, and staffing needs
  • Evening, night, and weekend shift differentials available

Job Description Summary:

Provides mental health therapy services to clients in a behavioral health agency setting, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote recovery and improve overall well-being.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

  • Assists in developing specific, realistic, and measurable treatment goals and objectives.
  • Accurately assesses and documents client presenting problems, history, symptomology, mental status, and diagnosis. Prescribes initial interventions in a timely manner.
  • Employs strategies of intervention that are consistent with empirically supported treatments and consistent with program expectations.
  • Remains current in general knowledge of psychopharmacology in pediatric behavioral healthcare and collaborates consistently with team psychiatrist.
  • Coordinates client care with other service providers and community resources to assure continuity of care.
  • Completes clinical charting and other related administrative paperwork in accordance with policy standards.

Education Requirement:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and FamilyTherapy, required.
  • Doctorate, preferred.

Licensure Requirement:

Appropriate Independent Ohio License, preferred.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, peers and community representatives.

Experience:

Experienceproviding and managing behavioral healthcare to children, adolescent and families, required.

Physical Requirements:

OCCASIONALLY: Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs, Loud Noises, Pushing / Pulling: 0-25 lbs, Reaching above shoulder, Working Outdoors

FREQUENTLY: Bend/twist, Climb stairs/ladder, Flexing/extending of neck, Sitting, Squat/kneel, Standing, Walking
