    Hybrid- Typical Weekly Schedule: 40 Hours, Monday through Friday, with travel to sites in North and South Carolina 3 days per week

    This role is an approximately 24-month assignment supporting multiple energy storage and solar construction project teams. Site visits which include field observations of project progress, interaction with vendor project staff, change order impact evaluations, and support of regular project status updates will be required.
    The applicant shall demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise in field scheduling for large construction projects and use of Primavera (P6), including the following:
    " On-site field experience observing project progress and tracking performance via schedule updates
    " Review and analysis of project schedules in P6, including basis and qualifications
    " Incorporating the implementation details into the schedule (once implementation contracts are awarded)
    " Defining and analyzing the project schedule baseline in P6
    " Development of a site integrated schedule in P6, including other site work activities that either impacts or is impacted by the project
    " Work with contract vendors to gather and verify updated schedules for projects
    " Maintenance and update of site integrated schedule
    " Support development of recovery plans, as necessary
    " Support development of project changes, as necessary
    " Review Project Change Requests for impact to schedule
    " Support project scheduling required for Funding submittals
    " Support project reporting (Project Status Reports, etc.) as necessary with project team
    " Schedule adherence reporting
    " Schedule variance analysis
    This role provides day-to-day analysis and evaluation of data associated with portfolios, programs and projects. This position serves as an expert practitioner in project controls (cost, contract, WBS, schedule, resource, etc.). The position shall perform complex aspects of individual project estimating, scheduling, change documentation and cost control while communicating program or portfolio status.

    The role provides mature technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) support where demonstration comes from extensive and diverse work experience and/or formal education, application of advanced project controls principles to establish and maintain rigorous performance standards. The role shall demonstrate advanced levels of application, analysis and evaluation of data.
    This role is essential to oversight of unit process and procedures, understanding and application of complex project controls principles, and continuous improvement and development of Project Controls systems for communicating forecasts and trends. It assures project control data collection tools, analysis, communication and reporting systems are accurate and functioning according to Enterprise policies (e.g. Financial, Risk, Supply Chain, etc.) and Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCoE) requirements.

    The role is a proficient expert with computer applications for analytics related to schedule, cost, and risk, supports communication of project, program and portfolio performance including interpretation of trends and forecasts. The position contributes to analysis and results of project cost, forecasts, contracts, schedules, resources etc.
    Responsibilities
    The role will be responsible for incorporating the developmental/ implementation details into the schedule (once implementation contracts are awarded), integrating with other site work activities that either impacts or is impacted by the new project, and for defining the implementation baseline dates.

    The position will maintain and update all owner implementation work, including development and maintenance of the site integrated schedule. These updates may be obtained from the vendor schedule submittals, manual updates provided by on-site / responsible vendor representatives, or direct communication with the GM/PD/PM assigned to monitor and control the work.

    The position will develop/generate periodic project controls communications, develop and generate project controls routine analytics for communication(s) prescribed by the business unit. Responsible for data collection, verification, validation and analysis of data to support project controls communications. Responsible for distributing and archiving project controls reports as appropriate. Provide presentation quality reports and communications as needed to project and management teams and be available to present if needed to project team/management team.

    Required Qualifications
    Graduation from a four-year college or university - business, finance, project management, engineering, technical, or equivalent.
    Minimum of 9 years of project controls experience.
    Minimum of 11 years of project controls experience in lieu of a degree.
    Demonstrated expertise in using Primavera (P6)

    Preferred Qualifications
    Masters - business, finance, project management, or equivalent.
    Experience tracking project resources and quantities using Primavera or other software
    PMI or AACE certification (the following or equivalent are acceptable - PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, AACE-CCC, AACE-PSP, AACE-CEP, AACE-EVP).
    Demonstrated expertise in using Software such as MS Project/MS Office Suite, Business Objects, Prolog, Passport, Visio, Access, Powerplant, Maximo or EAM, PeopleSoft, and schedule analysis software, such as Deltek Acumen.
    Expert user of Excel
    Prior *** or Utility experience.
    Experience evaluating vendor change orders and time impacts
    Ability to lead complex assignments
    Exceptional communication skills
    Strong collaborative team member
