  • Join a values-driven, collaborative environment that encourages curiosity, initiative, and continuous improvement.
  • Use your storytelling, editing, and design judgment to elevate proposal quality and brand consistency.
  • Work in a hybrid office environment based in Dallas, with opportunities to collaborate across Texas offices.

What You’ll Be Doing as the Proposal Specialist

  • Write, edit, and refine proposal narratives, resumes, project sheets, technical content, and supporting materials.
  • Serve as a key editor for proposal content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand messaging.
  • Gather and validate information from internal teams to strengthen content quality and proposal strategy.
  • Support interview preparation, presentation strategy, and business development efforts.
  • Maintain and improve proposal libraries, including standard content, resumes, project descriptions, and boilerplate materials.
  • Support CRM data entry and upkeep to strengthen business development tracking and client relationship efforts.
  • Research market trends, client priorities, and proposal best practices to improve pursuit strategy.
  • Coach junior marketing staff and help build a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented marketing culture.

About You as the Proposal Specialist
  • You have at least five years of experience writing proposals, leading RFQ development, or working in a related technical writing or marketing role.
  • You bring strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content strategy skills.
  • You are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple deadlines, deliverables, and contributors.
  • You communicate clearly and work well with marketing staff, technical teams, leadership, and business development professionals.
  • You understand how to translate complex information into clear, client-focused, persuasive content.
  • You have experience with CRM systems and understand their role in business development.
  • You are proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • You bring a proactive, creative mindset with a passion for storytelling, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • You are able to commute to the local office in Dallas and travel to other Texas offices as needed.
